Fort Mill – System Improvement
Fort Mill Bypass / Dobys Bridge Road
8-inch Pipeline Project
PURPOSE: The primary objective of this project was to deliver HP gas from the Fort Mill Lateral to the Springfield Station via a new 5.9-mile, 8-inch pipeline, which in turn added more capacity to Fort Mill and the northern area of York County. Upon completion of this project, the new pipeline and the additional supply of gas at Springfield Station also help to alleviate the demand at a handful of metering & regulation stations intended to flow gas towards Tega Cay and the west side of Fort Mill.
